That's such a shame.
We've never fancied the Rose and Crown. We've eaten at the counter service restaurant and that was nice enough. |

We went there last Wednesday and overheard people complaining that their table was late. We explained that my cousins son was autistic and therefore would not be able to cope with the hour delay the other group had been complaining of. We were in within 5 minutes and Phil our server made sure we got through to the VIP viewing quickly and the food was fine. Yes there was an issue with the toilets which suprised me but but cant complain about anything else. However we booked Spoodles on the Disney boardwalk for Friday and although yes the food was good the service was diabolical and slow. Some plates were taken and some left for ages and when we wanted an after dinner drink (it was our last night) we were given the bill and when we tried to call our server back he clearly chose to ignore us.

Its rubbish, we only go in for a beer and that comes to almost $20 dollars for 2 beers and a pack of crisps lol
Its typical british service 1. Poor Service 2. Dirty 3. Overpriced What has happened to our standards i dont know. So i think they have it just spot on in the Rose and Crown lol |

I can't get past the England area of Epcot fast enough and wouldn't go into the Rose and Crown if you paid me. I don't save all that money and fly all the way across the Atlantic to go into a crap english pub...got enough of those here thanks lol

We first went to R&C in 1999 and the food, service and our front row table view of Illuminations was great.
However since then we have revisited on a number of occasions and the food has steadily got worse and the service has been hit or miss. The only reason I can think of for eating there again is the chance you will get a table at the edge of the lagoon to watch the fireworks. Unfortnately even with this we will not be eating there again in a hurry.

We met an incredibly rude barman here in Sept 07. My father placed an order for some drinks, the order wasn't what had been requested and when my father politely pointed out the problem the barman snapped " that's NOT what you SAID" in an aggressive tone of voice. I made sure we left rapidly so dad wasn't tempted to add an authentic bar room brawl to the theming, which was a pity because I was quite enjoying the piano music . I don't think I'll ever bother going back.

Standard answers on here about the Rose and Crown, of all the pavillions I do feel that the British one really lets us down. Also I don't get that the menu is a typical British pub one - well certainly not the pubs I eat in (crisps, pork scratchings, nuts - just kidding).
