we are in orlando now and have used uber every day since we arrived and its great , we have not waited any longer than 4 minutes for a uber cab, we tipped each driver .
we worked out we have saved between $8 and $14 per journey .
you cant use pre paid cards , we have been using paypal on my app and dh debit card on his app . i like the fact you get a picture of the driver and their name before you accept the cab

What's the best place to get an uber to if going to the magic kingdom? I've heard if you get dropped off directly there you get charged an extra fee or something?

Wow, thanks for this, this might be a serious consideration on our next trip. I've worked out that (at today's rates) the hire car would be £350 for two weeks, so about $40 a day, when you take in to account the petrol and parking costs it could work out around the same, but without the hassle and DH being able to have a drink if he so wished.

Thanks for taking the time to post this, it's really useful!

How do you unassociate Uber with your credit card once you don't want to use them any more? I have found out how to unassociate paypal with uber but I would rather use my cc with them but cannot find how to then delete it.

Ah okay thanks, I came across another forum where they were having difficulty in deleting the CC and had to email in as there was no option to delete a CC, I have not associated anything with the app yet so can't test it out . But that sounds fine. Still not decided whther to use paypal or CC - but as long as i have the option to delete both from their database (not just the app) then I can see no problem.
Thanks
