BA lounge for Club World passengers?

Just wondered if anyone knows which BA lounge Club World passengers use at Gatwick? I know BA are moving from the North to South terminal imminently so lounges may change but just wanted to know what we will be able to use.

Also, do we have to book even though we get free access?

BA have their own lounge and no you don't have to book. Turn up at the desk and show your boarding cards.

Head for Points website reports that the new BA Lounge at Gatwick South has not opened due to it failing safety tests.

Oh dear - think we saw that coming.

Why? Safety checks after building works are normal and are designed to ensure everything is ok.

BA's contractors did not pass, but BA had a plan B to ensure passengers had a lounge to go to (actually 2 dedicated lounges, one being the old VA lounge), so I'm not sure what the' problem' was/is as passengers had access to a dedicated BA lounge, just not the final one. Same caters, so in essence no major difference from the final.

Maybe BA , Virgin and easyjet should get a pat on the back as the switch seems to have gone without major incident.
