Mobile What camera do you take to WDW?

I want to buy a new camera for our holiday this year. I want something quite small, and to take pictures and videos. I have quite a small budget though of £100. I am wondering if I would be better off just using my phone (Samsung A5). I have a bridge camera however it's big so I don't want to take it.

I don't know what the camera Is like in your phone (I know I used my iPhone 6 a lot last time as carrying around my DSlr is too much like work in the August heat!)
But these are fab little cameras

I think you can pic them up a little cheaper without the Bluetooth ect.

I have a bridge camera too but now my iPhone 7 Plus takes far better photos so it's resigned to the desk drawer along with my Minidisc player and iPods. Much easier to carry too!

TBH you'll find most cameras at the £100 range not much better [maybe worse] than your phone. It'll be fine for most everyday picture taking.

If you do need:
Extra capacity for photos;
Better zoom;
Easier to attach to a monopod /tripod etc;
Something you don't mind bashing about;

...then another camera may be worth it.

However, if your budget can stretch to £150 then you'll get a much better camera as that's where the market is most competitive and the better features [bigger zoom, WiFi etc] start to appear.

We took the TZ80 last year and it's a great little camera. Going to use it again this time round.

for £100 im not sure you'll get that much. if your budget was £200+ we could probably suggest something half decent to replace both your phone cam and the bridge.

i'd use your phone for the daytime/most of the trip, and the existing bridge camera for special things where you may need the optical zoom or low light/nighttime shots. get a little tripod for it (gorillapod for example) and youll get some great night shots/long exposures with it

that way, you only spend a tenner or so, and take the bridge out a few times during the whole trip, leaving you to spend the extra £90 on a nice meal or excursion!

This trip I took our Go Pro Session and my phone (Currently have a Samsung Edge S6+). That was it.
Last trip, just took my phone (xperia Z2).

I haven't took our bridge camera since we went in 2013, as you say it's a bit bulky and cumbersome to be wandering around with.. But understand totally why people do take DSLR's etc if they're a 'proper' photo lover.

thats why i went for the canon eos-m mirrorless compact. all the features of my SLR (and more) plus, i can fit my canon EF lenses onto it using an adapter ring

since i got it, my slr has barely left its bag...

What would you suggest for £200?
My daughter is using my bridge at the moment for her GCSE photography, so she may want to take it with us.
