Day 6. West Coast again ;-) 7 Magic Mountains, Shark Reef Strip

Up at 9am.. a lie in

Acutely aware we didn't have much time left in Vegas and we still had loads to do, We had some pretty full on days.

Chloe had asked a while back if we could go and see 7 Magic Mountains whilst we were in Vegas and we said yes, We try to do what both the kids want if we can..

My kids are very different , Chloe very into art and history, Connor finds all that boring and is a born comedian !

7 Magic Mountains is about 10 miles from our hotel going towards Primm..

So we went to McDonalds at the South Outlets for breakfast, turned around and set off ..Didn't take long to get there.

7 Magic Mountains is basically 7 piles of coloured rocks plonked in the desert. Chloe loved them, Connor thought they were rubbish He was more concerned we would come across snakes walking over to the rocks , so to protect himself he carried a large rock in his hand We didn't see any.. Most interesting thing he saw was 2 empty prescription bottles for cannabis !

Spent about 1/2 hour here and I'm glad we came I think they are only on show till later in the year.

Drove back to South Point and had a few hours by the pool , It was unbelievably hot so we made good use of the open pool bar, well the soft drinks side anyway. Connor was more impressed by the fact there were so crew from the race teams out there.

Went in about 3pm got showered and changed and drove to Mandalay Bay.

Mandalay Bay has the most confusing self parking ever.. Its so hard to find the casino ! Loads of us were wandering around looking lost.. $7 to park here.

We went to the Shark Reef another freebie through MyVegas and again I wouldn't pay $100 to visit. 30 mins max and your done.

Connor was hungry so we went to Denny's at the Tahiti Village as we had a 20% off voucher.

Drove to Flamingo and used the self park as it was free and wandered along the strip. Chloe bought herself a rose gold Pandora ring she wanted. I love being on the strip at night when its all lively :-)

Left about midnight and went back to the hotel

A lie in and a bit pool time,perfect! Pool area looks nice at south point. We looking forward to pool time this year,as never yet managed to fit any in.

Erm, when I read the title I though magic mountains was going to be a theme park, doh! They are " interesting" , I think ...

Love how you mix it up on these days and fit so much in.
