advice re drop off and pick up at old trafford cricket

hi

just wondering if someone can give me some advise on a good place to drop off and pick up my son for the concert on saturday at old trafford cricket club.

which is the quietest route for me to pick him up from, where the least amount of crowds and traffic go.

I will be staying in manchester all day so am flexible on any route.

Quietest probably around the Quadrant pub. He'd just have to walk over the little bridge when he comes out.
Over the other side there's a big Tesco on Chester road which would also be a good spot to wait and you're straight on the main road then to the motorway or out of town.

There's loads of streets off it (it's on a roundabout with a parking area in the middle) so should be able to find a pick up point he can easily find.
Should be a good gig - I'm off to it myself.

Thanks, yes it's my son (18) I'm also dropping off will be worried sick till he's back in the car, but I'm sure he concert will be amazing!
