485 Day Wait - Day 2

SO , after our travel day yesterday today is our first proper day . My alarm went off but me and the hubby were already awake . The kids began to stir from there pits and the hubby walked over to the food court to fill up our cups with hot chocolate .

We managed to get up and out and got the first bust about 7:20 from Port Orleans west bust stop and got to the park for 8am for magic hours . We rode 7 dwarfs mine train 🚂 after a 30 minute wait then headed straight to Peter Pan . The queue only looked small and despite the sign saying '60 minute wait ' we decided to ride anyway . This only took 15 minutes to get on . Not quite sure what happened there !
As we came off we noticed It's a small world with no waiting time which was true and we rode that with had an empty boat .

So I felt quite smug 9 am and one hour in and 3 rides done ! however , victory was short lived when we realised a rookie error of in a rush this morning none of us had eaten.

So off we went in search of breakfast ...

We found Starbucks after a 15 minute walk and all had sausage and egg muffins and a caramel frappe which cost 1 quick service credit so 4 credits in total . Bargain I thought.

On our travels to find food we found this guy too - big al . The eldest is a typical teen and hates photos but I really do have 2 children lol .

So , then we realised our first fast pass had started and was in the last 30 minutes so headed there . We got straight on big thunder mountain , took about 10 minutes which was fab as the standby was at 70 minutes . Then walked straight on splash mounts as this fast pass had began .

When we were done we had a mooch around in shops etc . Time was getting on so we headed to be our guest reservation where we had Pre ordered lunch in his castle . The pre ordering of the food was a brilliant time saver . We walked straight in where as other guests had to queue for what looked like ages .

We all had braised pork with mash and beans for lunch as were all indecisive so copied the husband lol

Lunch was 1 quick service credit inc our pop (3 x coke and 1 smart water ) however we must have looked hot (and it was ) as the waitress treated us to 3 extra bottles .

The grey stuff and lemon meringue was lush and 1 snack credit each . (We shared )

Finally one of the boys together !

Then we decided to head out and just walked around a bit mooching in shops and had our final fast pass on splash mountain . We then got straight on the app and got one for monsters inc and headed back - shattered .

Went straight round the pool for a few hours and I went a walk around the resort .

After the pool quick wash and out for tea . The food court was heaving . The day had taken its toll and the youngest was falling asleep at the table and we weren't far behind . I had a Create your own pasta . (I swapped my drink for a dessert ) used my refill resort mug .

Kids had a pizza each ! Which we didn't realise were 2 credits each ! Another noobie mistake lol . (They also swapped drinks for puddings)

We then ended up taking half the stuff back to our room as we had used 5 credits (each pizza was 2 and my meal was 1 so 5 ! )

Kids shattered and by 10 everyone asleep but me .

So it's now 11 . Nighty night and Epcot tomorrow x

Thankyou , yeah Kids were shattered today so went slower so maybe over did it but adrenalin kept us al going I think x
