Four Go To WDW Again - Day 5

We are all tired so skip our first FP of Safaris - but can't afford to miss our next FP Flight of Passage! So we decide to have a pastry for breakfast in AK. The stall next to Flame Tree Barbecue sells Danishs, Muffins and Pretzels. Perfect!

We have a FP for Flight of Passage

The queue is 180 minutes so we are delighted we have an FP - we had to book it 60 days out to get it!

The ride is amazing! A kind of soaring on bikes! (Sorry Banshees). We head to Africa via a new path from Pandora - a very pleasant walk.

On our way to Conservation Station. This, to me, is a strange area and normally not worth the time - but it is rumoured to be replaced - perhaps by a Zootopia land - so we visit for old times sake.

And then a huge Rabbit

As well as a sleeping pig! Actually - we had a lot of fun here!

And so to the Flame Tree Barbecue.

Watermelon Salad - both Lucy and Daniel had this but didn't like it - I tried it and it was fine but the dressing was unusual.

My Ribs, Chicken and Pulled pork with corn bread, beans and coleslaw - DELICIOUS 😀

Denise had the ribs...

As we left there was a band playing - really good and put everyone in a good mood

Then - Lucy and Daniel met Russel from UP!

We left AK to go for a swim - cloudy today and looks like it might rain

Yep - it's raining- but no thunder so the pool stays open.

I shelter at Muddy Waters. Would like a beer but I refuse to pay these prices

8.50 !

The pool was closed due to a storm in the area - so we return to the room and then see if the boats to Disney Springs are running. They don't run during storms but the storm never really got to us despite the rain

We eat at Wolfgang Puck - This quick service on the DDP - but has excellent food served table service style.

The Once Upon A Toy store is now tiny- a quarter it's original size.

We watched a CM blowing glass

And the kids had fun buying bath salts in Basin! This is a really lovely shop.

We visit World Of Disney and then head back to POR on the boat. Another amazing day!
