After all these years I'm still not sure if I can link to other sites on here... lol... so copied and pasted from last year...
Hollywood Studios has made an unusual move that will please fans of Star Wars. They are adding Star Wars fireworks to the entertainment schedule during the Christmas break. And the link just in case... kennythepirate/?s=sta...orks+christmas I really hope so because we are desperate to see this...

Yeah, I saw that but until Disney actually opens the event up I'm not holding my breath... lol It would help to know though because if they don't I'll book the dessert party for the Christmas show instead. Really can't book both on top of the parties we are already booking. DH will have a meltdown... lol

Getting Excited

Book the Christmas one anyway and if Star wars comes up just book that and cancel the Christmas one , then you wont risk the chance of missing out on the Christmas just incase. You wont lose out, and if you do it will only be a couple of pounds, as Disney refund within a few days, infact I've made a few quid out of them recently as i got back more than i paid for events/ dessert party's.

We did the Star Wars dessert party on Monday night. My view is that it's not nearly as good as the wishes/happily ever after one which we've done a few times purely because of the space in which it's held. There is no seating and no table allocation. The tables that are used are high bar style tables which my 5 and 2 year old couldn't reach. We had to leave the main area and sit on the floor to eat. It felt really disorganised and far to full of people. To add insult to injury, the viewing area was fine but it wasn't even that busy - there was plenty of space to watch the fireworks from.
Don't get me wrong, the food was good and the fireworks were fantastic but the whole experience was a bit poo and definitely not worth the money as far as we were concerned. |
