East Meets West - NYC To LA 2016 Day 7 Day In The Bay
We was up bright and early, had breakfast and waited for our über to take us to our pick up point which was at fisherman's wharf Yes it's another cold one Ghirardelli's Driving across the Golden Gate Bridge First stop, Muir woods These trees 🌲 are giant redwoods that can grow up to over 300 ft tall and they can live to be 2000 years old wow 😳 Anya looks like an ant in between the trees 🐜 We was told a time to be back at the pick up point and they said which route to stick to as there's a few , guess what? Yip we got lost in a massive Forrest , we ended up on the wrong route and before we knew it , it wasn't long until we needed to be back at the pick up point . We panicked as we didn't want to hold the bus up and started sprinting to the start , mind you I really enjoyed it it was like going for a jog 😬 Look how beautiful Next stop Marin county where we looked round the house boats which a lot of them belong to artists and hippies. Some of these boats ⛵️ go for as much as $1000000 We stop at Sausalito to have a look around some of the shops and for a bite to eat, and this cheeky chappy next to Mark tried a few times to steal our food lol Anya's new friend Ellie from San Francisco Now back to the bus for our tour around famous film 🎥 places around San Fran The famous Mrs Doubtfire's house Well , we did get up early So next stop is Alcatraz Well Alcatraz was really interesting and although I was a little worried Anya might find a little boring she was absolutely loved having the earphones and listening to all the info, she loved listening to it tell her where to go to next So it was the end of our tour and we headed to the famous pier 39 to have a look around and for some food . Since booking this holiday and doing research I couldn't wait to try an in n out , and it didn't disappoint 😀 very cheap and tasty 😋? If you haven't had one of these , you need to ! It was my idea to walk back to the hotel to see as much of San Francisco as we could, less than half way back I was like, why did I suggest this 😳. Did you see the steep hills in the previous pics I put up , well we walked up about 8 of these /\/\/\/\/\/\/\ no kidding up then down then up then down lol That's 1 of the hills we walked up Me trying to get a selfie with a tram in the background My face when I seen my last pic was blurry and that the tram going past was nearly gone and I still hadn't got a tidy one lol so we'll make do with this one . We stop in a store and get some munchies and then back to the hotel for the night.

Excited about Disney
|
Hi it was a tour around San Fransisco with Dylans Tour which included a self guided walk around in Muir woods and a ticket for Alactraz, once the tour was over they dropped us off at the ferry pick up point at the pier, we then sailed over to the rock and had a self guided audio tour, we were free to stay as long as we wanted. Hope this helps
