25th Wedding Anniversary - Where to go?
It will be our 25th Wedding anniversary next year and cannot decide where to go. Hubby fancies Bali but not sure. Want somewhere special - any recommendations.

We went to Cape Town in November 2012 for our silver wedding anniversary which was a fabulous holiday and highly recommended. We could only manage a week and it was full on the entire time, but is probably one of the best trips we have ever taken with so much to see and do.
Funny this should come up tonight as we were only talking about this holiday earlier on today. Debra

Would love to but couldn't go there without the kids - maybe the following year for my 50th as a family treat
We were looking at Far East earlier - hubby doesn't fancy Dubai

Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary, we haven't made it to 25yrs yet (coming up for 14 for us) but the year we got engaged was my parents silver wedding - they did a big trip to south Africa. It was fully guided (which they don't normally do) but different areas doing a proper safari, Cape town & table mountain, victoria falls etc etc I can't remember exactly how long they were gone for or all the different places they visited but they had the most amazing time! I was very jealous looking at their photos and definitely a special holiday for them as it was so different from what they normally do! Another one they had looked at was the blue train so also South Africa, not sure what swung it to be honest but this also looked amazing!
My DH really wants to go to Japan so maybe when it comes to our 25th anniversary we'll look into that (esp as kids will be 24, 23 and 22 by then so much cheaper ) I suppose it really just depends on what you're looking for in a holiday, theres so many places I want to visit that i'm not sure i'll ever make it to all of them |

Maldives? Especially if its just the two of you!
Depends if you want beaches ? If not we adored Singapore and Canada -Alberta/ British Columbia. We did a three week trip for our 25th to Canada If you want somewhere truly different try Sanya (Hainan, China) We recently went there, stayed in five star resort on the beach, absolutely stunning (and dirt cheap!) Wherever you end up have a great time Edited at 04:42 PM. |

Depends, do you want beaches, peace and quiet?
We chose a cruise as we don't really do fly and flop so a cruise it was. There are some amazing ones out there, have fun choosing what ever you go for.
