25th Wedding Anniversary California Road Trip Day 2

Today we were out at 9.00 am and headed for the pick up point for our Dylan's City Tour, a 30 minute walk to get there. While waiting we spotted the tram stop so grabbed a photo of an empty tram.

We were shown round the city in 2 1/2 hours. We went through China town, Mission, Tenderloin, and many more. Twin Peaks was a let down as the view was completely obscured by fog! 🙁

We some fabulous murals, which apparently add value to your property!

The painted ladies

Mrs Doubtfire's house

And because we could see the Bridge our guide took us over it and back, it was freezing!

He also drove us down Russian Hill in Lombard Street. Amazing

When we got back we went to Boudin's for some clam chowder in a bread bowl - delicious.

Then we went to see the sea lions.

This guy was loving the attention

Then on to Ghiradellis for ice cream...

... and a free pumpkin spice chocolate square.

Now we're resting our weary legs and will eat nearby tonight.

So far: 16,277 steps
10.06 km

Dylan's is a great way to see the city, and get to hear some history too. It's a shame it was foggy for you though.

Those sea lions are very entertaining to watch!

Another lovely day - the tour seems to ve such a great way to see a lot! Though shame about the fog

Clam chowder sounds like a much better lunch offering!
I hope dinner was as nice!

The clam chowder was the perfect way to heat up after our chilly trip across the Golden Gate Bridge!

I can so recommend Dylan's for a tour around the city, it was perfect for us. I have to agree about the sea lions, we were there watching them for ages.

It really was a great trip, even with the fog.
