Spectrolee's Three Week Disney Trip - Day 10 'Ohana Shopping And Pool
We headed to the Polynesian this morning for breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. We never managed to get an ADR for this before we came. Eva has just been checking MDE every day to find an opening. Last Tuesday she found one for this morning. We had Boathouse originally in for dinner this evening so we re-scheduled that. Pineapple welcome bread We were like a plague of locusts before I could take a photo Eggs, biscuits, breakfast potatoes, sausage, Mickey & stitch waffles and some really delicious ham Davie had a Wasabi Bloody Mary- $10 Then it was character time (Stitch was available for a photopass outside, but was not in the restaurant) Ed loved seeing the characters (especially Mickey) but didn't want his photo taken. We never got any fruit with our breakfast, I mentioned to our server and she boxed some to go. We decided after breakfast to walk to the Lost & Found at the Transportation and Ticket Center on the off chance that Joni's Doc McStuffins had been handed in (it hadn't) There were lots of signs to guide you round to the the TTC It took 14 minutes to get there I would love to spend the day in here to see what kind of stuff they have retrieved from all over. Eva, Isabel, Joni and I all headed to the Target in Kissimmee on the 192 (near where it meets the 535) What a much nicer place than Walmart. It was immaculate, and had a great selection of groceries. Warning - there are quite a few pictures to follow (some with British food too) ** just thought I'd add this - even though the youngest (apart from Joni) in our party was 38, we still had to provide ID (which was input to the till) to buy our Bud Light We bought some Robinsons for the kids $3.95 for tomato soup, eek! There is no need for there to be this many flavour of pop tarts Don't think so Joni! Not far off this price for one bottle at Disney! All the Halloween/Fall and thanksgiving decorations were amazing Treat bag fillers Had to prise this giant spider out her hands haha Hmmmm Joni found this Minnie Shopping Cart passing by a toy aisle. Well it ended up being purchased (she's played with it all day to be fair) 1. I will need to be firm when I tell her she can't take it to the theme parks 2. I will probably need to ditch half my clothes to fit it in then case to come home. 3 I may need to go back to Target to buy Ed one to stop them fighting over it lol! We popped over to our nearest pool, but the kids splash area was turned off. Joni asking where the 'watta' is We headed to the main pool. Most of the pics are on my go-pro so I'll add some more in later when I've downloaded them. We had some snacks we got in Target, and our accumulation of sides this week for a picnic at the pool. Ended the night back at the Grandstand pool for a dip in the jacuzzi (where we chatted to some other dibbers) then off to bed. No big plans for tomorrow. |

I'll have to bring hubby some salad cream from home because I wont be paying $7.39 for it. I always amazes me how some things are so cheap and then others are extortionate prices.
Another great day.

I love supermarket shopping in the US, it seems soooooo much better than here - maybe that's just the holiday feeling! Shame about Doc.
