POFQ Surprise Stay? ?

Hi all

I was looking into booking a nights stay at POFQ for October 2018 as a surprise for my parents.

Basically they plan most of the trip for 12 of us! And they've never stayed at a Disney Resort in the 10 years they've been going so as a Christmas present I'd really like to get them a night a POFQ.

The only thing is I don't know whether to go ahead and book it now (it's currently around £190 for a night) OR wait to tell them on christmas and book it with them so they can choose when they want to stay.

Will the price increase if I wait till christmas? If so should I just go book it now or wait?

Please help, I've never booked anything disney by myself!

Thanks,
Caitlin

Lovely idea and I'm sure they would appreciate it . I would probably wait until free dining has finished and look at the prices again. Sometimes they drop for the room only, it's only a few weeks to wait but I would keep it as a surprise. Your other option is to book a deluxe through dvc points. I paid £178 for a grand Floridian room. Keep an eye out on the dvc points forum for dibbers who are renting points. 11 months if they own at the resort or 7 months if they don't . Great way to treat them x

Ahh thank you so much! I'll hold off and see if the prices drops then!
