Do You Want To Read My Trippie ? IHOP , Magic Kingdom And Hallowishes Cruise Oct 17

So once inside I had fastpass for Mickey in town square . Really excited I thought he would talk. Well , he didn't but he was a fabulous Mickey ( obviously got a sore throat so couldn't speak ) and made us laugh ...a lot.
After that it was time for the festival of fantasy parade. I had previously booked the package at Tony's for this but cancelled it yet again just before we left the UK. I just couldn't justify the price and glad I did because we got a great spot in front of the castle ( I'll post pics when I've loaded them ) . Then did big thunder followed by space mountain. It was now just before 4pm and no fastpass for anything left in MK. We didn't care though as ds wanted to do sorcerers and I wanted some photos so we just wandered and took it all in . Eldest ds was getting hungry so he demolished the caseys hot dog below.

Now today was a weird day as it started off cold and raining. It then progressed to warmer but clearing skies ( about 64 when we left IHOP ) . Then went to a cold wind but warm in the sun and clear blue sky. As sunset appeared it was freezing and we were due on a hallowishes cruise at 9pm and we had gone to MK in shorts! Panic set in as we knew we couldn't get back to get changed as the monorail queue was huge and we have a dining reservation at the grand Floridian cafe at 7pm.

So , we managed to get to the grand Floridian for dinner which was really nice . Dh and I had the grilled pork chop , mum the chicken breast , my friend and ds the lobster burger and ds cafe sandwich. Desserts were the fondue , cheesecake and timbale . On,y git one picture as we ate the lot again Really excellent meal and not bad value at $173 for the 6 of us including the tip. ( we did get AP discount though ) .

So then it was off for the hallowishes cruise leaving from the grand Floridian Marina . Now the in my opinion is fantastic value if there are a few of you. We had a party of 6 ($318 total), paid in advance ) as it was my lovely friends birthday so fab way to celebrate ( albeit minus 20 out on the water) . Credit to Dimitri ,our captain ,he kept the boat steady and gave us lovely thick blankets . Lots of snacks and drinks , although chilled drinks were the last thing we wanted lol and the hallowishes music is piped into the boat during the show. You really don't appreciate them until you have viewed them from the water,. They really are spectacular.

Soon went to this lol.

The water parade before the fireworks and during the lake tour . It started at 9pm then back around 10:45pm

It really was choppy and the wind piercing at times. Who said Florida was warm lol.

What a lovely day, the parade photos look fab. The cruise sounds amazing but very cold - oh dear I'd not have coped well with that. Love your photo frame.

What a lovely day at MK. I can't believe you managed to stay so late on your first night.

It's a shame it got so cold on the boat, although Hallowishes looks lovely. They should have offered you cocoa instead of cold drinks!
