We don't do the big rides. Our youngest went on Flight of the Hippogryff and was traumatised at such a "scary" roller coaster! Nothing would get me onto one of the big coasters, absolutely nothing! I really can't understand how everyone does it. Give me gentle, preferably baby rides each and every time. Having said that there is always so much to see with such great theming that you will never be bored in Disneyworld, in fact, you'll be run off your feet

Whilst Universal is a bit more adult with its rides I think theres still plenty to do with a 9yo and another child. At Studios I would have thought Simpsons, MIB, Shrek, Minions, Hogwarts Express, Fallon would easily be suitable. Transformers, Mummy and Gringotts might be pushing it but they are still not as heavy as a big roller coaster.

IOA Spider Man, Popeye, all in Seuss Landing would be fine. Kong and Forbidden Journey may be pushing it and Ripsaw Falls and Jurassic Park it might be best to watch other people coming down the drop first and see if they fancy it.

If you suffer with motion sickness then I wouldn’t bother? A lot of the rides are simulator types that can make you feel unwell... there’s the Disney water parks and if you’re doing discovery cove and seaworld you should get aquatica tickets as well? That’s plenty! Esp if you’re needing to take rest days.
