Great to see such lovely weather reports for may, we've just booked 2 adults and 5 kids 17/5-2/6 £2700 virgin flights, direct out and via Chicago on return- booked through omega, very happy as the return date seems popular as end of half term here

Hi irvin38a

Just wondering when you booked those May flights to get those great prices, for both this year and next? And did you book them direct or via TA? We're going on out once in a lifetime trip next May and already have out flights sorted (man-mco) but I can't help hoping it may not be a once in a lifetime trip and that maybe we'll get to go again. The right flight prices will help with this dream!

Thanks

Just want to jump in and agree with everyone that Mays an excellent time to go. Weathers always been hot but not humid, Little to no rain. Crowds are manageable and we find it much quieter than our usual months we visit. Booked for May again 2018.

What are the crowd levels like then and flight prices? We normally pay around £450-£550 direct from Manchester with Virgin, am I likely to get that in May?
We love going in May, but the crowds are busier than November (probably similar to October crowds). The weather is nicer because of the longer days (as well as just being nicer in general).

We've yet to get our flights for May next year. I'm hoping to get some last minute bargains in the new year
