Caribbean Resort/Coronado Springs

At last, after 6 years abstinence, we are returning to WDW.

Starting to read up on all the changes and my first question is “What’s going on at Caribbean Resort and Coronado Springs”?

I have read about all the work happening but what will be the outcome? New rooms or public areas or expansion? And more importantly, is it likely to be completed by summer 2019?

Not sure on completion dates but always be aware of the construction overrunning. Disney never usually give specific dates just kind of fall/summer/spring 2019 to give themselves leeway.

The construction at both site at the moment is on a big scale!

Yes and Yes, new rooms, new buildings, new public areas. Its a massive construction job. Enough to practically close the place and they upgraded most guests or offered a lot of vouchers for those who stayed.

Most possibly maybe complete by summer 2019. I would say it would be finished, but if not, it will be smaller work left over, but that doesnt mean everything would be open.
