I'd like to know the answer too, more though is there any really excellent BBQ in the Orlando area?

I'm not sure there's any really great BBQ in Orlando. 4 Rivers I've heard of, but never been. I'd like to try it.

I smoke at home in a Weber Smokey Mountain.

I've found some good stuff in USA and some surprisingly poor. For the really really great BBQ you generally have to get to the Carolinas or Texas.
I went to a very good one though in St Simon's Island Georgia (Southern Soul), and a respectable one in Hershey Pennsylvania (Smoked) last year.

I've found Florida BBQ is generally better for ribs and pulled pork.

Sonny's used to be passable back in the day but I haven't been for donkeys and not sure they even had brisket.

One I really want to go to for Brisket is Franklin. I've got his book and boy , is he dedicated to the BBQ life.

Reds in UK is my favourite, but it started local to me.

The best brisket (and for that matter bbq) I have had was at uncle kennys in clermont. It’s 15-20 up the us27 from the 192 junction so easy if you are off site in one of the community’s on that stretch. Can’t wait to visit in August. Check them out on trip advisor.

Good one.
Brisket is by far the hardest meat to smoke. It's the only one that cannot be done by internal temp, so varies widely in terms of how long it takes. Imagine that nightmare when trying to get it ready for a service.
Also the cut and quality is very important. There's 2 distinct pieces to a proper packer brisket, the flat and the point. It all needs to be well balanced and top quality.
Reds in UK imports USDA Packers as you struggle to get the correct balance or cut in UK.
If a BBQ can get it's brisket spot on, the rest is a given.
I will definitely be trying this one.
Thanks.

Sorry for jumping in the thread guys, but I'm passionate about BBQ and I've wondered if any of you on Dibb shared my passion. Great to see some do.
If anyone is interested, here is one of my smoking videos

Great brisket in the smokehouse at chessington, better than anything I've had yet at Disney though the Polite Pig at Disney springs gets some good write ups. I also enjoyed Bubbalou's Bodacious BBQ and not only for the name
