United flights - Should I change seats?

I'm just checking our flight with United, on a Boeing 777-200. I normally sit around the same area as I have already selected seats for (see circle on top row). There's only two of us flying, so I was thinking about moving us to the row of twos on the bottom corner? Has anyone had any experiences with these rows. The toilet is on the other side of the plane so I was thinking maybe it might be quiet... but then I'm not sure whether the cabin crew would be standing around here. For some reason everyone has already picked seats on the one side of the plane which makes me think something must be wrong with the area I'm looking at!

Have already checked Seat guru and they aren't showing that anything is wrong with then. This is for a flight home the first week of June. I'm wondering if the plane changes will we then be moved to other seats that won't have 2s...

I would move. We like sitting in the two seater row but would not pick the very back row as they can be noisy and not recline much. There is more room on these seats at both sides usually (can't remember if that's the case with United).

Let's face it no seats are perfect in economy and I would prefer not sitting alongside a stranger if at all possible.

Edit: I am not a recliner I hasten to add!

I would definitely move,as they are the seats,I always choose, whenever possible.
Would much rather,be in a row of 2,whenever possible, when it's just the 2 of us.

Also I find,if there are ever any empty seats, where you can move & spread out, they are usually,at the back,as a lot of people prefer to be at the front,to be one of the first off,but we always choose the back.

Yup I would move if it was just 2 peeps .

You are lucky its a bigger plane , when you fly from Edi its always just 2 rows of 3 n 3 and always feels cramped

The seats on the other side of the plane may be blocked off rather than already pre booked to allow the crew to pull curtains across and get some sleep.

If there are only two of you I would definitely go for the row of 2!

The ‘twos’ at the back of the cabin are our choice seats - as far forward as possible.
I can only remember one occasion being irked by cabin crew parking a trolley next to me for quite a long time - had to ask for it to be moved so I could go to the toilet.🤨

Great! Thanks guys. I've moved them for our flight home We're flying Dublin to New York and on the way over there are only 2 seats at the very back, which I think might be too far back for us! Our internal flight to Orlando is 3x3 so I've just left our seats as is.
