1 night Disney for 60 day FP planning
It is correct that I can book one night onsite and get access to the 60 day FP planning?
If so, where is the best/cheapest place to book? We've stayed at OKW before but thinking of one of the All Stars value hotels for just the one night. But which one? Any recommendations? Also, is it even worth doing? We will be there July 2019 so know it is going to be busy. Thanks

We stayed at All Star Music resort for exactly that reason and it worked really well. Got a fantastic deal with expedia. Hotel is very basic compaired to what we like but it was clean and served a purpose. You are only putting your head down. We went in August.

Not the cheapest of the values, but I love the Art of Animation Resort and food court, so you could book a Little Mermaid room. I would say it’s worth it for the fast passes and magic bands and they have fantastic pools for some great photo opportunities

Thank you.
Will I be able to book all my fast passes for the 14 days of my ticket even though we will only be staying one night? Also how do I know what rides are in what tier? We haven’t been since FP+ was introduced so totally unsure of what I’m doing.

So for your fastpasses when your window opens at 60 days you can book for the two days you are staying at the hotel, after that you have to go on at exactly 60 days before each day to book your fast passes
This is a Disney Mom panel response re:tiers, though the HS ones have changed to the three toy story rides being tier 1 and everything else tier 2 disneyparksmomspanel.disney... -parks-350567/

Don't forget you'll also get free parking at the theme parks for the two days

I booked the cheapest option which was the campsite with no thought to actually stay there. It gave the 60 days FP+ booking, 2 days parking and 3 magic bands for less than the parking and bands would have cost.

Hadn’t thought of that - good idea! Saves having to pack up for the night. Will definitely check that out thank you.
