Sleeping In A Safari, An Animal Kingdom Lodge Adventure - Day 4 Epcot

We are at Epcot today. This is a park that we used to frequent often when we stayed in the Yacht and Beach club.

The flower and garden festival is on at the moment.

First stop is mission space. We are trying the green ride for the first time as this one is different to the orange ride. This one goes round the Earth instead of to Mars.

Enjoyed the green ride it was cool to see the Earth from space. Now we are onto the more intense ride to mars.

Next stop using our fast pass for Test Track.

Off to see the Pixar shorts. Love how the seats move in this like in the Shrek ride at Universal Studios.

They have a butterfly garden open for flower and garden festival so we stopped by. One even landed on my phone!

We are now at the American pavilion having one of our favourite snacks, the American Dream. It consists of two types of slushy and ice cream!

Whilst we were in the American pavilion we thought we'd watch the American adventure.

Using our fast pass for Frozen Ever After. I know this film is very hyped up but I still love the story and the music.

We are off to Yachtmans Steak House for dinner. As much as I love Animal Kingdom Lodge I do really miss the Yacht and Beach Club. The location is so perfect being able to walk to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.

All this time on the dibb and this is the first time I’ve heard the green ride on mission space is actually a different trip. I’ve always thought it was the exact same trip but just made less thrilling. Now I’m desperate to try the green as I want to see earth from space!

I love Epcot. We are skipping Disney this year but I keep wondering if I should have a sneaky solo day there for a wander round the world showcase which I love.

Great day is this the new version of the ride it was updated last year I think.
The orange version almost ruined mine and Dh day about 4 years ago 🤪 I haven’t been brave enough to go on it since.

Aww one of my biggest disappointments on our Epcot day was the machine was broke so I never got an American Dream. Next time we go back I so hope its working. Looks like you had a great day.
