Flight of Passage Ride Restraints
Hi, can anyone who has ridden FoP at AK advise what the ride restraints are like? How quickly and firmly does the back restraint come up? And how much pressure does it apply during the ride.
If anyone had been on Mia's Riding Adventure at Legoland Windsor, how do the restraints compare to that? |

The CM came around an explained how it works and it felt like how he explained to sit meant it didn't slam up on me like Lego one did
Initially it felt a bit restrictive but Fop is so amazing that I forgot all about it once the ride started.

I'm concerned about this too. I'm not keen on being hemmed in.

Have you looked on YouTube as there may be ride clips showing people getting on.

I was worried about this too but it was absolutely fine. No feeling of being trapped at all just supported. Honestly you don’t need to worry. My eldest son is very tall and broad and he fitted in comfortabley too. As above it’s such an amazing experience that you soon forget about the restraints anyway.

Excited about Disney

My boyfriend is 6ft7 and didn’t fit in it ☹️ He was super disappointed.
I think he was more annoyed because it wasn’t like he was in danger or anything.. if he fell off the bike style seat he’d of just landed on the floor

As long as they can lean forward like on a motorcycle they will be fine. The ride restraints are gentle and comfortable as far as I can remember.
Maybe speak to a CM when you go in to the ride and they can assist. When we went someone in a wheelchair managed to get on the ride, they are very helpful. |

I had concerns before I rode it as I have a back problem but found it was very comfortable also read on here to sit a bit upright so when the bar comes down you have a bit of give I am a size 18 and it didn't feel tight at all and my DH is 6.4 and had no problems either.

I wouldn't say I had back problems (I'm more of a sensitive soul) and the first time I went on it I felt quite a hard slap on the back when it hit me. During the ride however it felt very snug and secure and had no problems.
The other times I went on I put my hand in the small of my back to prevent this and it worked a treat. I'm 5'4 and slender build if that helps. |
