Airport lounges Manchester T1
We are thinking about booking the airport lounge for our trip next June. Which would do you think is the best Escape or Aspire? Has anyone used these in the last couple of weeks and do you think they were good value? What food did they have on offer?

I have used lounges most times i have travelled in the past, we are flying from Manchester T1 in September and was looking to book last week.
However after actually looking around at the reviews and videos / photos of both the Aspire and Escape lounges i decided they just weren't worth it on this occasion. Many Many people complaining that they are basically full to capacity during busy times (we have a 12:00 flight so likely to be very full around 9am) Escape lounge just doesn't appear comfortable- the seating looks to be more like a school canteen than a premium lounge although it is reviewed best for food. Aspire seems to be more comfortable but food selection / service is reviewed very poorly - plus you have to leave the lounge to access toilet facilities. To me the idea of a premium lounge is having somewhere comfortable, quiet and relaxing to spend time before the flight whilst being able to enjoy snacks & drinks etc. Due to the overbooking / overcrowding issues reviewers complain of at both the T1 lounges and coupled with the fact that we are staying over the night before and will be having breakfast at the hotel I decided to not bother on this occasion. |

Thank Simmyoto. You have just mirrored my thoughts. We fly around 12 too. I've also read bad reviews that's why I thought I would ask on here for more reliable input from Dinners. We have used lounges before and found them quiet but seems things have changed. Have a lovely time 🙂
