Day 1 magic kingdom Lunch Crystal Palace

We had a really good morning at Magic Kingdom. We managed 7DMT, Space Mountain, Pirates and Buzz Lightyear ride all before our noon reservation for lunch. We would have done Splash too but it went down whilst we were in the queue. I really recommend going to the MK early like this as most rides were less than ten minutes wait until around half ten. Checked into Crystal Palace easy enough no wait to speak of. I wanted to take a photo of all the buffet stations but it was busy and I didn't want to be that person standing there without a plate taking photos. What we had was nice. The carving station had beef and pork both tasted juicy and succulent. I managed some photos of the kids station and dessert station. All in all it was above average. I don't really like buffets but Eva wants to see the characters so that trumps me wanting to pick off a menu.

The photo is MK about 8.10 this morning. Really quiet.

Next stop Raglan Road for tea.

Kids food - mac n cheese, chicken nuggets and legs, veg ... verdict was thumbs up from Eva.

Beef. Pink. Had two lots of this.

Clam chowder. This was really great ... very flavourful and hot too. None of that cold clam to contend with.

More beef with salad and pierogi. Didn't rate the pierogi a bit stodgy and tasteless.

I tried one of each of the mini puds. All very very sweet almost too sweet unless you like that kind of thing. The fave was the blueberry mousse and the s'mores one.

Just s bit of shopping 😀

Thanks for posting this - we plan to do similar - so quite comforting. We have lunch at CP, also Bibbity Bobbity Boutiqure. FPs for PP, Belle & 7DMT - hoping to hit the park at rope drop to do: splash mountain, rocky, pirates & jungle cruise...

Honestly until about 10.30/11 it was super quiet everything but seven dwarfs was walk on...
