Going On An Adventure Day 10

So today I woke up about 8.45, a real lie in given I was falling asleep at about 11! I volunteered to go get breakfast so had the opportunity to explore the resort on the way.

It was a glorious morning.

After breakfast I found the nearest laundry and set that away. We had a slow morning getting ready while the laundry was on, and finally headed to Animal Kingdom on the 11.12 bus. Got to the park about 11.36. Bus service is something I am really liking, means we can both have a drink 😁

On the way in we got a coffee. I had a headache and blamed it on low caffeine intake. Can't be lack of sleep 🤤

Our 11.15-12.15 fastpass was Expedition Everest. This was so much fun!

Our next fastpass window was open as soon as we were off Everest, so headed over to Dinosaur. Another old favourite from previous holidays with the kids.

We then nipped back over to Tough to be a Bug. It still makes me jump a bit, and it is fun seeing other people's reactions.

We went for lunch at Pizzafari. The DDP payment was down so had to pay by credit card and will have to claim back at the hotel. By now it was about 2, and we headed into the Oasis and Gorilla Falls to see some of the animals.

It started to rain heavy, thunder and lightening, so we stopped in Africa for a very un-African drink of cider.

Even with the rain, we were enjoying the park. We then took a wander to Pandora and our 4.05 fastpass for Flights of Passage. This was even better than I remembered, I love it.

Still raining, so a visit to the Nomad Lounge and an African drink this time, a Lamu Libation. Lots of rum!

Dinner was at the Yak and Yeti. Adrian had Chicken Tikka Masala. I had the Lo Mein with tofu. Not a fan of tofu but figured I could do with the protein. It was absolutely lovely to eat vegetables! Both meals were lovely. Dining plan was working, bonus! Dessert was cheesecake for Adrian and chocolate cake for me. I couldn't eat it all! Top marks for this restaurant 😁
