Going On An Adventure Day 11

Thanks to everyone who has kindly commented on my trip report 😁. Today I did the breakfast run, a bagel each and chocolate croissant. Which is actually a pain au chocolat but try explaining that to a cashier... Fuelled up we got the bus to Hollywood Studios and arrives at about 10.30. This is our 5th trip and so now we tend to do the highlights and don't necessarily feel like rushing for park opening. The first thing we did was head to the coffee kiosk by the exit to the Tower of Terror shop. Had a 20 minute chill and caffeine fuel up. Then first fastpass, Rock n Rollercoaster. Totally brilliant, my favourite ride in this park.

Then we ventured in to Toy Story.

The theming is really cool.

Everywhere you look there is something really cool. We had a fastpass for Slinky Dog Dash, and both really enjoyed this.

We had a bit of time before fastpass 3 so headed over to Star Tours, stopping outside the Chinese Theatre.

Star Tours was a lot of fun. The staff member loading us in to rows was a bit miserable, shock!

Then it was time for third fastpass. I really don't like drops and lifts, but when it is just the 2 of us I sometimes have to grit my teeth and get on with it.

Building work at Star Wars.

We were really feeling all the walking over the past few days so went back to the resort for a rest. Bus to Disney Springs at about 6.14. I recall the time cos at 6.11 we had just missed a boat and so had to speed walk to the bus depot!

Dinner was at the Boat house.

We had a lovely table outside. It rained slightly while we were eating.

Dessert was ridiculously nice.

We ended the evening with a quick trip to the Disney Store to get our $200 gift card and started to mooch round the shops but it was crowded and we weren't enjoying it. Got the water taxi back to the resort, to rest our tired feet!

Toy Story looks fun. Your meal at the Boathouse sounds great, that pudding looks lush...I could just eat it!
