Going On An Adventure Day 12

Today we have plans for late fastpasses at Epcot and Illuminations. So we had a slow morning at the resort which included, at about 10am, a quick service breakfast. As a vegetarian I found the menu options quite limited and the staff don't really care about cross contamination. My breakfast omelette was no exception 🙁. The food court was busy, which made it feel like the food version of jumble sale 😁. It was certainly lively in there. We had a coffee and chatted about plans. I had originally planned golf for the morning but we decided to head back to Disney Springs using the boat.

It was a bit windy!

Of course it was hot so we needed some cold drinks, a couple of beers from Paradiso 37.

Then we got to bus to the resort, grabbed some snack credits and a drink, and headed back out to Epcot. We did Living with the Land fastpasss, Soarin ( both while it was raining heavily) then a jump over to The Seas With Nemo.

We were supposed to ride Test Track for our 2nd FP but it wasn't working because of the rain. We instead headed to FP 3 and Spaceship Earth.

Our dinner was at Spice Road Table so we headed around world showcase. The wrong way! Finally got there. Food was really good, I had vegetable platter and Adrian had steak. Suitably full, we forced down a dessert as well, and had a glass of wine each. The table next to us were taking the mick with their ordering so they could keep the table for the fireworks. Ordered starters. Then dad stayed at the table and the mum and daughter went off for a bit. Then they came back, ordered a meal for the daughter, and the dad went off for a bit. Then he came back and they ordered drinks. They still hadn't ordered a main course for the adults by the time we left! We decided to skip Illuminatip s, having seen it plenty of times over the last 4 trips. So we headed for the bus. Back to the room for some wine 😁.
