Travel Day 2 - Are We Really Doing This?

Have to say was very impressed with the Premier Inn at T4 Heathrow. Room was ever so clean and was extremely quiet. I'm a poor sleeper but awoke feeling fairly well rested. We didn't opt for the breakfast as we planned on eating in the VA Clubhouse. Once we were ready we made our way to T3. It did take a little while as there were limited trains but we weren't in any hurry.

It was ever so exciting checking in...

Could get used to travelling without the teenagers...

It was probably very easy to recognise the fact that we haven't done this before... we did take quite a lot of photos...

The fast track security was ever so quick and we were through to the lounge in no time.

I enjoyed a couple of small pastries and some fresh fruit salad whilst Shaun had a full English breakfast.

The difficulty then came with finding somewhere to sit. So many choices...

We eventually decided on some comfy chairs and Shaun read the paper whilst I made a start on today's trip report.

It's a hard life!

That sounds fantastic, loving the look of the UC lounge. We fly UC next April and can you tell me if you can do Twilight Check in at Heathrow please (just so we can go straight to the lounge?
