Flight Prices 2019!

Is it me or are the flights for 2019 massively expensive?

I've been pricing up 2 adults travelling economy in October and It's coming up at like £1900!

A few years ago, we got return flights for like £500 each! What the heck

Sounds very expensive. Have you tried skyskanner or other comparison sites?

Yes at the moment direct flights seem very expensive. Norwegian have good priced flights if they had a flight home on the day we want I would book with them as liked them on our last trip, but they don't so going to 'try' being patient and hold out for a price drop

There have been several posts about cheap flights in October. BA were coming out at £880 for 2 adults inc car yesterday for November from Glasgow.

We're booked to go 22nd October-5th November at Disney World so those are the dates I need.

In that case it's £1456 direct with BA on those dates. Decent flight times too. How's about that? Save £450 .

Does seem expensive though. Have you tried playing around with the return date? Or perhaps another Florida airport?

I paid 1800 for direct virgin flights for 2Ad 2kids,LGW to MCO 20th Oct to 3Nov with luggage last week.

I had been monitoring prices for a while and they randomly dropped then went back up again. It was a day later than I had planned, but disney changed our booking no problem for £50 admin fee.

The moral of my story,I guess is bide your time, and as soon as the flights drop into your bracket, hit the button! if you can be slightly flexable by a few days it helps too. I used the 'show whole month feature on sky scanner to find cheapest days to fly. X

wish I could find prices like that (23/10 - 2/11 3 adults) cheapest I've found is nearly 700 each with luggage and that's using a company I've never heard of on skyscanner ☹

Don't rush to book them yet. I'm going September 16th to 26th 2019 and they're about two thirds cheaper now than they were a few weeks ago.
