Esta issues

Hi All,
On Wednesday 9th I applied for a group esta for two people. At the time I was given a Group ID but as it said it would be confirmed his email I didn't take a note of it. The money has been debited from my PayPal account but when I've gone to their site to check the status it asks for my GROUP ID which hasn't been send via email yet. I've tried the "forgot my group id" button and out in my details but nothing has come through and I've tried to 3 times since Thursday. I'm at s bit of a loss as to what I should do. Any help would be appreciated.

Ps I'm well aware there is a US government shutdown but this doesn't appear to have stopped others applying successfully (according to twitter)

Have you tried the individual passport numbers?

I guess there's a chance but i'd have to have mistyped it twice. And even then I'd hope the website would say when I'm requesting the ID that the email is wrong. Maybe I'll try and do it and type in the wrong address to see what it says

I’m sure I didn’t get any emails, although it states you do. I wonder if they just use email to advise you when it’s expiring?
Hopefully if you try to retrieve with passport details you can find it.

I applied Wednesday and it was authorised that night, it told me it would be confirmed be email but never was I had to go back in to find out

Just triednagain with a different address and it gives and error message different to the one I get, so I must have used the correct address

We've done 5 or 6 ESTAs each since they were introduced in Jan 2009.

On one occasion only did I did the two of us as a group rather than two individuals and I did get an email advising me of a group ID. The actual approval though, whether as a group or an individual, was live on the web site.

Never had an email from them advising approved. The only time they email you is about 30 days before they expire.

As the PP suggests try retrieving them individually. You'll need the P/P numbers to do this.
