Is there a better day of the week price-wise to fly?

We are planning to fly out to Orlando from Manchester in the school Easter holidays 2020.
We could fly Saturday or Sunday, and possibly take the children out of school on the Friday. Is there any advantage financially to flying on Friday rather than the weekend?

Thanks for any input

I just checked MAN-MCO for Easter this year and Sunday is showing as the cheapest day to fly of the three but mid week is cheaper. I wouldn't expect Friday to be significantly cheaper than the Saturday, as it's also a popular departure day.

It's usually a Tuesday. We went Wednesday as back Friday and it was substantially cheaper.

Can you come back later due to Easter bank holiday?

Tuesdays are usually cheaper. We flew Tues last year and are doing the same again this year.

They are cheap as main travel days are Thur/Fri for long weekends returning Sun/Mon. Sat/Sun are busy travel days for UK as most people take 2 weeks off work and best to do this to use less holiday allowance. Was told this by TA.

Thanks everyone.
The last couple of times we have been we flown mid week and in term time. As we will have 2 school aged grandchildren in the party this time, sadly we can't.
The latest we could fly home would be Sunday arriving back Monday, as their schools go back on Tuesday.

I suspect we will bite the bullet and go for Saturday.

(I am shocked to see how prices have risen since we last flew to Orlando in March 2107! )
