Help needed with favourite restaurants

Hi guys
We are staying at AKL only for 5 nights and we have ddp. So we are struggling to pick places to eat for our Ts. We have done Florida 10 times before but never stayed on site so never had the need to worry about where to eat. we are a party of 6 me,hubby,my sister and my 3 teenagers 19/17/14 however the kids are strange wee eaters hate trying new things so need places that gives a wide range of choices. We would like to do O’Hana , Tepan Edo and Sana’a maybe Boma as staying in akl. Where else would you recommend ?

Are you wanting TS suggestions for all of the different parks or ones mainly closer to AK? Yak and Yeti and AK was probably the best TS meal we had while we were there, lots of different things to try but there were burgers on the menu too for those less adventurous!

Good call on Boma - we really enjoy it for both dinner and breakfast! Plus if you staying at AKL can be nice to bit have to think about getting back to resort 😁👍

Would your kids be better having a TS breakfast? Maybe a buffet? There would be lots of traditional options, including cereal and pastries, The other option is for you and your DH to do 2 credit signatures and let the kids eat quick serve.

My kids (American) started hhaving school trips to WDW at 14 so I felt comfortable letting them go off on their own for a bit.Your 19 and 17 year old could keep an eye on the 14 year old. My kids did the parks by themselves starting around 14. I might be in the park but they were on their own and my daughter did a week long trip with a good friend at 17. Only issue was she was not an adult legally and had to rely on her friend for checking in and charging privileges.

I was trying to narrow down my list and got a bit carried away with peoples recommendations, I then spent time looking at some youtube videos and checking out the menus and picked out the ones which served the type of food we liked.

The WDW couple are really good YouTube vloggers who do food reviews all over Disney property, they have really helped us to narrow down our options for when we go back, as well as Disney Food Blog.

Jungle Skipper Canteen in Magic Kingdom - it was my favourite meal last year, so much so I ate there twice
