Recommended trip reports?
Can anyone recommend me some trip reports to read?
I want to get an idea for typical days / plans to help me plan out our own trip. Are there any trippies that would be good to read for a family of 4 (my girls will be 9 and 13) visiting in late August? We’re planning 3-4 days in Universal (all 3 parks) then 14 days in Disney (staying on-site with DDP). We’d like to do a good mix of rides, shows, meets and character / novelty dining, and it would be interesting to see how other families have managed to fit everything in. I did have a look in the trip report section, but I’m clicking in and out of lots of reports without really knowing which ones will be helpful / relevant for us, so any pointers would be great.

I did a universal one from Easter and my ds is 11. So it might help you with the universal part https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1124612
I’ve only done one other full trip report which was disney at Christmas but I’ve done a food report each time which covers ddp and universal. Here’s a link to all my reports. https://www.thedibb.co.uk/forums/sho... php?t=1111529 Dixon on tour does good trip reports as does Goldia and both have kids slightly older than mine.

Brilliant, thank you so much for your reply. I’ll have a read of all of those - your Universal one will be especially helpful, because I’ve been focusing on Disney so far, and I really need a crash-course in all things Universal!

Rescuer is very sweet to recommend me! To give a brief intro, my kids were 13 and 11 last summer, boy and girl. We stayed on WDW for 16 nights and had the DDP. We love meeting characters, my DD filled up her autograph book. The kids love coasters and I'm getting better at riding them without needing too long a sit down afterwards! We had a brilliant time. The link to last summer's report is in my signature...It's all about the mouse.

That sounds great! I won’t be riding many coasters (unless they’re suitable for pre-schoolers - then I might be alright ) but I know the others will, so your report should be right up our street.
