Rogue One - Day 5 - Rain

Crew: me (mum), Thomas (age 11) and George (age 10)

We woke at 5am (Boo).

So we bumbled about a bit trying to pretend we were not awake. Finally we admitted we were awake and got into the Mustang at stupid o’clock.

T. was adamant we would try a Dunkin Donut for breakfast. The early start it turns out was a good idea as Dunkin Donuts had one person serving and a queue out the door.

We went to Aquatica and got there just as the gates opened.

We managed to ride loads of stuff before it got too busy but then the rain.

So we took this as a sign and went to Wendys for lunch in the hope the storm would blow over and we could return.

It didn’t stop raining. I kind of gave up a bit at this point and took the opportunity to stop for gas and then head back to do some laundry (I haven’t taken any photos of the Rosen Inn laundry rooms, but there are plenty and they are quick and easy to use).

It was a quiet day – bit more like a rest day really. We still managed to go out for dinner but G was very tired. I don’t think he even managed to order anything for dinner just had some of ours.
