Mobile Sheet music help please!

So in true DS style, he’s just realised the sheet music he needs to hand in tomorrow is in C Major and he’s singing in G Major.
Is it likely the accompaniest can just play it in G Major or is he slightly up the creek without a paddle?

Many thanks!

Im not too much help. Sorry My daughter (12) plays grade 7 clarinet and she has to hand over the music for her and an accompanist or she can not compete.

She has in the past, handed over the piece missing the last page. Luckily it was the acconpniast piece and not hers.
If its for a competition, if it's all he has he will just have to explain and hope they don't take themselves too seriously!

Thank you!
Luckily they were all very nice and just giggled that it was a cruel choice of song for the pianist!
There was a transpose button on the piano so all was good.
You just never know if you’ll have someone reasonable if not 😬
