Ideas, comments and suggestions
Returned in October after 2 weeks at the Beach Club with 2a and 2c and obviously we want to go back but do things a bit different after learning heaps in this trip.
Currently thinking 2022/23. We want to try The Polly but doubt we could stretch to a long stay there so think I would like a few nights there then about a week at slightly cheaper Deluxe which might offer free dining (so probably Beach Club as we loved the location). Do this all with Disney transport. Check out and then head to a Universal Hotel and have a car so do around 5 days of shopping and the Universal parks before heading home. Might look into D Cove during that portion of the holiday. Any comments on any of that to get me thinking? I know Free Dining changes and if we did October again that promo likely wouldn’t be on so was thinking maybe May half term and would do DIY. Give me things to consider Dibb Masters! If you do get free dining the initial stay at the Poly wouldn’t be included unless you bought two sets of park tickets. That means you may have an issue accessing Disney parks during that time as your free dining stay would have the tickets linked to it. It would probably be better to do the free dining stay first then the Poly. What we did a few years ago with 3 week stay was 2 weeks at OKW with free dining, move to Universal for 4 nights then back to Disney renting DVC points at BLT for the last 3 nights.

Agree with Sha that if you want to do two Disney resorts, it would be better to do the one with tickets and free dining first, otherwise you will spend the first few days without park access. Otherwise seems fine.

Parking is expensive at the Universal hotels, so you'd need to factor that in to your costings.
