Obviously she is not capable of cleaning the fridge so I think you should do it in future to ensure it is done properly.

Thanks guys. I feel that I have faced some unfair criticism from my dibb family regards Mrs MH cleaning the fridge during her lunch break. I would like to mention that I keep telling Mrs MH not to do any housework during her lunch break, but she refuses to listen to me.

I would also like to say that Mrs MH will be retiring a few years before I will with regards her age (she is younger than me).

I agree that espares are good, but Mrs MH ordered a new shelf from 4ourhouse.co.uk. I have been reasonable and said I will only deduct £2 from her £10 monthly allowance until the shelf is paid for (around £45 with delivery).

I hope I have clarified the situation, and dibbers appreciate what a truly wonderful husband I am.

If only my dh was half as generous as you are but I doubt he would even notice a broken glass shelf in the fridge even if it was stuck together with beige duck tape.

That's exactly how mine would mend it tho, only it's brown parcel tape in his case.

Mine would get one out of old fridge somebody was throwing out and stick that in even it didn’t fit or match!
