Florida 2018 - Promises made and promises delivered – Day 8 – Caj goes home

So after what seemed like an action packed week it was almost time to take Caj to the airport for her return journey back to the UK. We had had an amazing week – Niff had both learnt what “Doing Disney” mean and learnt to hate the Florida humidity and heat.
We had all agreed that Caj doesn’t really do shopping and is a through and through Disney Princess the first week, whilst she was with us, would be all about the parks. Niff, in the mean time, was probably also looking forward to his old dad driving him around the outlet malls so he could spend his (as in Dad’s) dollars.

There was still time for her to catch up on stuff on her mobile and the laptop before one final luggage check before it was time for Caj to say good by to the villa.

So we loaded up the car with Caj’s luggage made sure she had all of her travel docs and headed up SR417 to the airport

We check Caj in and sorted out some lunch in the food court. From memory I had orange chicken from (I think it is called) China Panda which I seem to have every time we go there.

The next scene fills me with different emotions depending on when it was taken. We would have seen this scene 3 times by the time we returned from this holiday..

1) When we arrived from the shuttle into the main terminal – excited!
2) When we dropped Caj off at the airport at the end of her time with us - Sadness
3) When niff and I returned home – a bit of sadness and excitement really.

Then there was some time to kill...whilst Niff took the obligitory fountain photo

So having said our goodbyes to Caj Niff and I headed to the outlet malls – not for the last time that second week!
