Only one Character Dining Experience when WDW reopens.

Topolino's Terrace at Disney's Riveria Resort will be the only Character Dining Experience available when Walt Disney World Resorts reopen.

The cynics among us may conclude that Disney are using this as an opportunity to promote this (perhaps less than popular) resort?
Character dining is either compatible with Covid-19 and social distancing or it's not.

Isn't that just when the DVC parts reopen? They haven't announced what will be open when the parks actually reopen later in July.

Probably be the first indication of what character experiences will be like

I don’t understand why they are just opening this. There are other character meals they could open in other dvc resorts

Gutted I had Topolino terrace booked and it was my only character dinning we had booked. I really don’t like buffets because of all the people hanging over the food and Topolino isn’t a buffet so maybe that’s why they are still doing that one? Plus it’s supposed to be a great use of a TS credit and I was really looking forward to it! ☹️

We did this in February and loved it. By far our favourite character meal, hoping I can get another reservation.

This is the only character meal, apart from CRT, which isn't a buffet. I would expect all the others to be reorganised along these lines. We had both a breakfast and dinner booked here before the holiday was cancelled.

O’hana is also not a buffet. Seems strange for them to just pick one!

I can see the characters jumping on the empty tables used for social distancing

Garden Grill at Epcot and the Bon voyage breakfast at Trattoria al Forno aren't buffets either.
