So jealous! I hope it all stays the same for our potential arrival next week!

We are also currently at the grand hotel president as our original hotel is closed. Such a small world!
It’s really lovely isn’t it. We have a fabulous view (but had to pay extra to get it! )
We are a bit noticeable as we are a group of 6 so say hi if you see us 😊

Can I ask how you're both finding it neilhd and Princesses 3, are there many restaurants and shops still open?

And also, did you have to print out and fill in the form for entering and hand it in anywhere? I think that's the only extra thing I can see that we need to do on the gov website.

We printed and filled the form in but Tui had them on the plane.
I would say it’s very similar to UK in That masks in to be worn in shops but not open air or bars/restaurants. Masks to be worn at all times from 6pm in public places.
The hotel is quite strict but no need for masks around the pool and to be honest we said before we came if we could spend a week at the pool without a mask and with some sunshine we’d be happy -and we are.
The Tui rep suggested it isn’t as easy as before to arrange to visit places etc and you need to pre book for lots of stuff but I’m not sure how true that is as we haven’t tested it.

Thank you! I'll need to get them printed out then. Are you able to confirm it's this? esteri.it/mae/resource/d..._form_18_8.pdf

We're the same. We never usually want holidays by the pool, but at this point, I just want to sit in the sun and relax for 6 days, so sounds good to me!

Ah, only just seen this! I think I know who you might have been! We were the group of 5 always seated at the far-left table outside at dinner. You can just click through my TRs to find pics of us.

Not sure if you've gone yet, but everything was open. Masks are more strictly enforced there than here but people are happy to mix right with you without worrying about distance which was nice.

Incidentally, we were on the Italian TV news!

If you find the Grand President facebook page they have a copy of it on there. It's because we were the first group of UK guests to arrive.

We’re on our way to the airport right now! I’m a bundle of emotions haha. Anything I should know or be aware of!? Or any suggestions on what we should do whilst there?

And we always sat inside after our first wasp experience 😂.
Not sure what you thought Neil but I couldn’t praise the hotel and staff enough for how much they tried to keep guests feeling safe but still it feeling like a holiday

Haha yes the wasps were fun. Didn't seem as threatening as English ones though!

I thought the staff were phenomenal. So friendly and helpful with everything. The hotel was just amazing, really. I'm certain we'll go back at some point. We absolutely loved the entire holiday.
