I assume as the last line says "stay tuned for more details about the enhancements in store for the Jungle Cruise, coming later this year" that these changes are unlikely to start this year?
I was surprised to hear this because I thought Disney would be reducing any planned work as much as possible to save costs. However, if it's next year, then that makes a little more sense. And I assume the changes will be minimal.

Nobody goes on JC for the ride these days - it is all about the Captain's 'commentary'. As long as they don't mess with that, the rest is fine.

The changes dont seem very drastic so in and of themselves i cant see a problem. As long as the commentary from the skipper says of a similar quality, which is the main reason people go on it.

The rides all about the skippers anyway. There were bits (the natives being savages) that were really dated so I welcome the changes!

Hoping that they don’t change it too much. As others have said, it’s the commentary that is the highlight.
