Has anyone booked a villa through Vrbo?
ive seen some nice ones in the Windsor Hills/ Windsor Palms area.

We booked one for august 2020, we cancelled and changed it to a dibb villa as we moved dates & it wasn’t available. This was last January so just before Covid. We got our deposit back with no issues from them.

Yes many times (many when it was Home and Away). Never had any problems. Many now offering free cancellation up to 2/4/6 weeks before.

Yes we booked twice through vrbo for Windsor Palms.

VRBO has taken over Homeaway who took over Owners Direct a few years ago and are a legitimate site and many owners and management companies advertise properties there.

It is a larger listing site so you will pay a commission to them over and above the price that goes to the villa owner. Have you looked here on The Dibb as you would be speaking directly to the owners and can avoid VRBO's commission?

We advertise on VRBO and to be honest they are brilliant for us at the moment. However as others have said it would cost you more to book via them than direct with us.
