Embarrassed for British Boxing-Taylor/Catterall

I’ve seen some astonishing scoring in boxing, but tonight’s fight bordered on criminal. Absolutely gutted for Catterall, there needs to be an inquest into that result

Absolute disgrace to the sport of Boxing - Catterall got done over big time there. I'm sure Chris Kavanagh must have been on the ref panel ther like he was at Goodison today

I wanted Taylor to win, but knew before the last round he was outboxed and only a knockdown would of changed the result for him
Then low and behold, the results I couldn’t believe it, Catterall was robbed he outboxed him every round, and although some points deducted was never close to being outsourced, or so I thought

Yep, ridiculous scoring. We were there, cheering for Taylor obviously, and i had Catterall 3 ahead. Watched it again when we got home to see if we’d been wrong and had him 4 ahead.

How any judge could have that as a win for Taylor is baffling so goodness only knows what the 114-111 Taylor judge had watched. By my poor maths that means he had Taylor winning 8 of the 11 rounds that he didn’t hit the canvass in. Just not possible.
