MagicBands to disney hotel - successful order
I've seen a few times the question being asked about buying Magicbands in advance. The link with your disney booking blocks purchases from the UK however I was able to make a purchase on ShopDisney.com.
They have a sale right now with extra 25% off code plus a free delivery code which work simultaneously. I managed to order 4 magicband+ for 110dollars plus tax. They aren't our first choice of designs but we are not bothered about that. I ordered it to the hotel and I woke up this morning to a UPS tracking number. It says it takes 3 to 5 days so hoping they are here by Thursday but worst case senerio we won't have them for our first park day.

We've got our old MagicBands from when we last went a few years ago. I take they won't work anymore? !
The reason I ask is that I thought Disney don' do them anymore so interested to know ... |

I thought about doing this but just used our bands from 2018. Just the long range rfid won’t work. The Bluetooth on my phone picked up the ride photos no problem.
If riding Tron just make sure to put your phone in the little box on the front of the bike rather than in the locker. Think I will get new ones for next year though, definitely better than using phone/card at the entrance/getting into room. |

I did this on our last trip too and it worked a treat! So handy to have the bands at Bell Services on arrival. The only annoying thing is that they split the order across 4 boxes which meant I had to pay the $5 fee four times! I did get a couple of other things but it really didn’t need to be sent in multiple boxes!
