What lounge at LHR is recommended
A question for those of us who have to pay for our own lounges, what's considered tha best one in terminal 3 if I am going to shell out?
We are on the morning flight with Virgin so mainly breakfast, coffee and somewhere to chill? |

We flew terminal 3 LHR in August on a AA 10.30am flight. I looked at the lounges beforehand and the reviews weren't great for any of them. We had breakfast at the hotel in the morning then grabbed a coffee and sat in the central seating area. We had a walk round duty free, boots and sat for a little while. I didn't think it was too busy, queued for the coffee but I think that's a given at all of coffee shops 😊

We used the No1 lounge in March it was ok. Booked again for next April. Food is ok drink selection is good but does get imo pretty busy.
Just seemed better than going to spoons and then sitting the departure area. |

Didn’t fancy either. Had lovely eggs benny, croissants, coffee and juice at the Evergreen Restaurant instead.

Have done the no 1 and aspire lounges in T3 and they’re both just ok, I wouldn’t pay for them again unless they were on offer. We only did it in 2022 as there were 8 of us and it was the first summer since lockdown and the terminal was rammed, so much easier trying to find a table for all of us in a restaurant. Flying from t5 in a few weeks and considered it but will just go to the spoons instead.

Booked the number 1 lounge. The reason I did it is that we had 4 free passes with priority pass and to be honest we queued for about 30 minutes to eat anywhere last year so popping into a lounge for a little chill and breakfast is worth it.
