Home Baking

I was heavily influenced by an Instagram reel that I saw and I recreated it today. 😍
I picked up some cookie dough from M&S and also their chocolate Quail Eggs.

You definitely need to bake the cookie in the dish and then once it’s ready, add the quail eggs or they will burn (don’t ask me how I know!) 😆 This was delicious and simple and looked really fun. 🥚🐰

I made a quick ‘no bake’ slice last night!

This is super easy and only has a handful of ingredients!

I'd love the recipe for this please 🙏

We're away for Easter but I want to have a few bits after we're home

Into a bowl you add I packet of crushed biscuits (rich tea, digestives or something similar) along with 2 tablespoons of melted butter, 2 tablespoons of golden syrup and 3/4 tin of condensed milk. Mix well and add into a lined baking tin and pop into the fridge to firm up.

After an hour or so, melt 2 blocks of your favourite chocolate along with two tablespoons of coconut oil in the microwave. Then pour the melted chocolate over the refrigerated cookie mixture. Add your favourite toppings (I used mini eggs) and then refrigerate again. Once set use a warmed sharp knife to slice into pieces (otherwise the chocolate will crack). Eat and enjoy! 🩷 xxx

I made another ‘no bake’ slice today. This one is one I used to make when I was little because it is so simple!

Mars Bar slice.

3 cups of coco pops or rice bubbles
6 mars bars
90g of butter
2 packs of chocolate
1 tablespoon of coconut oil

Chop the mars bars and butter and melt (I did it in the microwave)

Add the coco pops and pop into a lined tray.

Once the pop mixture is chilled, melt the chocolate and coconut oil and pour over the coco pops.

Top with your favourite chocolates- I used mini eggs but you could chop up mars bars and use those! 😍
