The "are we nearly bankrupt yet" french family trip - Day Seven, Typhoon Lagoon & House Of Blues!

So today we got up late, and headed on over to Typhoon Lagoon, it has a wonderful tropical, laid back vibe to it, with great music, (beach boys etc) it was like a day at the beach!

We found a nice quiet place to set up our towels etc, and then went straight for the wave pool, which was quite an experience! I was just bobbing about happily when this massive BOOM happened, and suddenly a huge Tsunami type of wave was heading straight for me, I actually wanted to scream and run! (Some people really were!) it knocked me flying, which was really funny, the boys loved it and stayed there for hours, surfing the wave!

The sun was with us today, hooray! After a day of non stop rain yesterday, this was so nice.

Even grumpy George was happy and chillin!

Harry and Terry decided to swim with sharks and sting rays, but said the water was cold, and Harry was bit scared, I didnt even go in so he was braver than me!

Brief interlude to mention my new nephew was born today, back in England, welcome baby Aiden! How lovely...

In the evning we went to Downtown Disney for dinner at the House of Blues, the parking was horrific, and there were just cars and people everywhere, chaos, but the venue was really cool, they had live music playing outside, and inside the theming was great, I got to eat my long awaited Buttermilk fried Chicken, and Banana Bread pudding mmmmm...

Harry had Lobster Mac and Cheese, also mmmmm...

I am Super Sizing by the minute!

Another fantastic day in Florida!

House of Blues looks excellent, another thing to add to my must do list. The lobster mac and cheese looks delicious.
