The "are we nearly bankrupt yet" french family trip - Day 15 - IOA, Shopping & Bahama Breeze

So today I really wanted to go back to Islands of Adventure to do the Harry Potter Forbidden Journey ride, which I didnt do on our VIP trip, because I was worried about feeling sick, which is not very VIP is it?! I asked everyone in my family REALLY nicely, if they would get up, and not fanny about in the morning, so we could go early and avoid the queues.

We woke up around 7 ish, but as usual, George could not get himself out of bed. We went to breakfast, got him his breakfast 'to go' took it back to the villa, and he still was nowhere near ready, so I threw a mini diva fit (well it has been two weeks of this) and we left without him. We got to the park around ten am, and it was HEAVING. The queue for Forbidden Journey was 100 minutes, it was around to the bridge by the side of the castle. Moans and groans galore but we joined the queue.

The ride was great, I was pleased I did it, I dont feel it needs to go upside down so much, or throw you around, it is quite clever without all that, but I did not throw up so all was good! Next we did a water ride, pribably not a good idea when I have a cold, but Harry really wanted to, so how could I say no?

We got really wet!

Time for a snack - Harry got a 'Brookie' which is a brownie, with a cookie in it! Wonders never cease, only in America!

Yes, I did check on George, and I knew the villa had pasta in it, so he would be fine, and he was. He was spending quality time with his laptop. No surprise there. We got him a Brookie too, he is always nicer when he has food in his tummy.

I got a Funnel Cake. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

We went home, as the park was just too busy, (and I was missing grumpy George) we decided to go to the Mall, for some last minute bargains before we go home tomorrow. We spent all the dollars! Once again, George got the most stuff, he has a great sense of fashion, and its so cheap here!

For dinner we went back to my favourite restaurant, right near the Premium Mall, 'Bahama Breeze' its fabulous.

My Beef Chipotle, I could not eat it all, so I actually asked for a box to take it home in, much to my family's disgust! Now I am truly American!
