18 Days Of Orlando Magic Day 3 - SeaWorld

Breakfast this morning was cereal and toast in the apartment ready for an early start, we left the apartment at 8.30am and were in the park at 9am.

First stop Kraken, this is Ian's and the kids favourite ride, I went on it once last time we were in Orlando and never again! So I happily sit it out, the park is still quiet and they get to ride it twice.

Next is the Blue Horizons show, another of Charlotte's favourites, I also think it is the best show at SeaWorld.

Jean is getting the hang of looking at the camera now!

So next up was Turtle Trek which we all enjoyed, we came out the theatre thinking it was a bit darker than when we went in and true to form the heavens opened as predicted by weatherman yesterday!
We stayed under the shelter and played a few of the games until the thunder and lightning stopped and then popped the ponchos on and waded out into the park!

Attractive!

We head to the new Empire of the Penguin as we know it will be undercover and we are all keen to experience it as it is new to us.

Whilst queuing for the ride we are informed that there will be icy cold blasts and 0 degree temperatures so it's best to enter the ride dry... ! Erm no chance of that right now but we decide to do it anyway.

The ride is brilliant and very clever, we chose the 'wild' experience which isn't very wild at all, think Buzz Lightyear with lots of spinning! The temperature throughout the ride is bearable but when you exit the ride to see the penguins it is freezing so we didn't hang about as I thought my poncho would end up with icicles!

It's stopped raining now thank goodness.

The area is really well themed.

Time for the Clyde and Seymour show. We haven't done this for a few years so decide it's time to see it again. It hasn't changed much apart from a paint job!

The mime is still the best part!

Clyde and Seymour are great though!

We head round to the Shamu Stadium via the Sea Garden, the gardens here are just stunning.

Funky flamingos!

It has stopped raining but Charlotte is insisting on keeping the poncho on!?!

Great show as ever but will never be as good as when the trainers were in the water.

Now it's time for some dinner as we are staying on for the evening show and fireworks.
We head over to the waterfront to the Spice Mill restaurant.

I have a grilled BBQ chicken burger with tater tots (very American)

Ian had the chilli cheeseburger, the food was good for theme park food and we all had either the chicken or the beef burger with a soft drink and for the 6 of us it totalled $64.

Next we take a walk around to Stingray Lagoon.

Plucking up the courage to put hand in!

And she does it!

Walking round to Shamu Stadium for the nighttime show we stop to see the Sea lions, they are all chilling out on the rocks.

Made it to the show 30 mins before start and got good seats outside the splash zone.

The show was excellent and the fireworks were great.

Time to leave, it's been a long day and we're all weary but have thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Tomorrow we're off to Epcot, I can't wait to be back on Disney property, I love it other places but you just can't beat the home of the mouse!

Thanks again for reading, I hope I'm making this report interesting!
